BEAUNE 2016

In September, 2016, Beaune dedicated the museum of Franco-American Friendship on the site of the American camp during World War I.  In attendance were Paul Day, Denis Toner, U.S. Ambassador Jane Hartley, Beaune Mayor Alain Suguenot, Quincy Steele, and Pierre Bolze

And in October, 2016, a delegation of Nantucketers visited Beaune to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the signing of the charter formalizing the twinning of Nantucket and Beaune. The celebration included:

The Nantucket group visited sculptor Paul Davis in his studio, to look at the maquette of the proposed statue.
