HOW YOU CAN HELP
Our goal is to fund this ambitious undertaking privately through our 501(c)(3) organization, Nantucket Combined Charities. Our first objective is to generate enough funds to cover the cost of the statues, as well as the funds needed for shipping, administration, accounting, and legal fees. We also plan to endow a fund for maintenance of the two statues. Any excess funds will subsidize an ongoing program that fosters an exchange of talented and motivated young students in the hospitality and restaurant industries from both cities to visit, study, and work in their sister city.
